Privacy Policy

Neverest respects the privacy of visitors to the Neverest website. Personal information is collected, used and disclosed by Neverest in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Our policy and related procedures are consistent with the Canadian Standards Association Model Code for the Protection of Personal Information and applicable privacy legislation. It is designed in accordance with the federal Canadian Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada’s Anti-Spam Law (CASL) of 2010, effective December 1, 2013.

Personal information provided to Neverest through the site is never disclosed to any third party. Neverest will not sell, trade or share any personal information with any other organization. Neverest will release personal information only when required by law to do so; for example, if Neverest is in receipt of a subpoena or court order.

Personal information is any information about a specific individual, such as the individual’s contact details and usernames or passwords. Aggregated information that cannot be associated with a specific individual, such as the number of newsletter subscribers we serve, is not personal information.

An individual can visit Neverest’s website without telling Neverest who they are or revealing information about themselves.  We collect personal information only when an individual specifically and knowingly enters it into the Neverest website.  When entering personal information, an individual is acknowledging and consenting to the collection, use and disclosure of this information, as explained in this Privacy Policy.

Neverest takes full responsibility for the management and confidentiality of the personal information it collects.

Besides personal information, Neverest collects technical information from an individual’s computer’s web browser or internet device when they visit www.neverest.ca on the internet. This technical information includes the amount of time spent on the site by a visitor with a unique internet identifier, the pages visited and returned to, the operating system and web browser used, the referrer website and any keywords used to find the Neverest website on a search. These server logs do not contain any personal information and can be accessed only by Neverest. Server log files are used solely to track visits to the Neverest website, to improve the experience, content and layout of the Neverest website. Neverest makes no attempt to link this technical information to the individuals visiting the Neverest website.

If an individual has subscribed to the Neverest mailing list, personal information provided to Neverest is kept as long as the individual is a subscriber. If an individual unsubscribes from the Neverest mailing list, their information will be deleted from the Neverest files and they will no longer receive information from Neverest.

Neverest relies exclusively on the information provided by its website users and subscribers, and will not seek independent verification of any of the information supplied.

Any references to trademarks on the Neverest website are for editorial purposes only. They are assumed to be the property of their rightful owners.
